Right below you will find the introduction to our printed menu -more of a statement than an introduction, really. We suspect that, besides actual facts, it sumarizes quite right all there is to be said about Tomo 1.

"Have you heard that song, My Favorite Things? It has been written by Rodgers & Hammerstein and has been covered by many singers –we particularly enjoy Sarah Vaughan’s recording.

"The song enumerates a few of the narrator’s favorite things. Her tastes are very simplistic and almost Proust’s maddelaine-like: “bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings...” The rhyme, the alliterations, the whimsical melody take the listener on a journey into childish pleasures –heavenlike pleasures yet so earthly.

"We would like our menu to be just like that song.
We put it together while thinking of a few of our favorite things."
